Planning Applications

Community Councils have a crucial role to play in the planning system. Development happens to allow the city to grow for future needs and by expressing local views, community councils can have a real say in how this happens.

If you wish to make comments on an application – objections, support or general comment, please email hello@hka.scot stating which application it’s regarding.

Please Remember – There will be a limited amount of time in which to send comments to the local planning office. It is very important to meet any deadline or your submission may not be taken into account.

In Line with our Digital-First strategy, The Community Council are currently developing a new online portal which will automatically display new planning applications for the area, We hope this will be live in early 2016.

Currently for major planning applications, a microsite will be created for each application – these will be displayed on the left-hand menu.

If you need to contact the Community Council for any information, please email hello@hka.scot
