High Knightswood & Anniesland Community Council is holding a “Meet your candidates” meeting on Tuesday night at Knightswood Primary School, 6.45pm-8.15pm

New Parking Restrictions for North Knightswood & Temple Area

Glasgow City Council propose to consider the introduction of a traffic regulation order in terms of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to introduce waiting and loading restrictions.

Details as follows:

Great Western Road Knightscliffe Avenue, Linden Street, Priory Road and Sutcliffe Road will be subject to new and amended waiting and loading restrictions. (Map Attached below)

It is proposed to issue Penalty Charge Notices in accordance with the provisions of The Order and the proposed costs are as follows:

£60 or £30 if paid within 14 days or £90 if unpaid after 56 days.

Full details of these proposals, which will form The Glasgow City Council (North Knightswood and Temple Area) (Traffic Regulation) Order, together with a relevant map and a Statement of Reasons for proposing to make this Traffic Regulation Order are available for inspection during normal office hours Monday to Friday inclusive at 231 George Street, G1 1RX. Any person wishing to object to the proposed Order should send details of the grounds for objection in writing to Land and Environmental Services, 231 George Street, Glasgow, G1 1RX by Friday 22 January 2016.

Public invited to see plans for new Clyde bridge connecting Clydebank or Yoker to Renfrewshire

RESIDENTS are being invited to see plans for a new Clyde bridge being considered from Clydebank or Yoker to Renfrewshire.

As well as being the only road crossing between the Clyde Tunnel and Erskine Bridge, the £78 million structure would be the river’s only opening road bridge.
