Our First Spring Clean Up Event

March 8, 2016 By admin

The first ever spring community clean-up event took place today with nearly 30 local residents volunteering to tidy up the High Knightswood & Anniesland area. Volunteers cleaned Knightscliffe Avenue, Great Western Road, Bearsden Road and Fulton Street and filled over 60 black bags along the route.

Support from Clean Glasgow, The Netherton Community Centre Cafe and Clean Scotland has helped to make the event an enormous success. Also thanks to Greggs for donating the cakes to have with our tea and coffee!

The Councillors of the Community Council would like to pass on a huge thankyou to all volunteers who joined today to make our area even cleaner!
